Yeahh, finally got the chance to visit the newly-opened 3-star hotel at Taiping, Flemington Hotel! Freaking 3-star hotel man! At Taiping wei..LOL ;D Nothing special about this hotel except for the skybar on the top floor of this hotel..Tell you what, the scenery here is quite nice ehhh..Because it's located somewhere near the Taiping's renowned Lake Garden and not to forget the Taman Eliathambi which is one of the most happening place at Taiping at night..Haha! Wondering what's so nice about Taman Eliathambi? PM me and I will tell you more about it :P Let us just look at the pics taken during our yumcha session at the skybar of Flemington Hotel shall we? ;)

After 2 weeks of suffering, I'm freeeeeeeeeeed at last! x)
Well, doing nothing much after my exam..Because most of my friends still have their last paper tomorrow..
So not gonna have any celebration until tomorrow :(

With its friendly and welcoming people, I am sure that my stay at Singapore will definitely be a memorable one as I enjoy mixing around with people from different cultures as Singapore is a mixture of an ethnic Malay population with a Chinese majority, as well as Indian and Arab immigrants. Moreover, I will enjoy countless fascinating experiences and take away memories that are uniquely Singapore as there are so many attractive places to visit here and I have listed down some of them from my research and include them in my 1-day itinerary tour in Singapore.

Here is my dream 1-day itinerary tour in Singapore!

Merlion Park 8.30a.m. - 9.00a.m.

I will begin my journey of the day visiting the Merlion Park. The Merlion is an imaginary creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. The lion head represents Singapore's original name "Singapura" which means lion city in Sanskrit and Malay. The Merlion is a well-known tourist icon of Singapore, therefore, it is a must for tourist like me to pay here a visit and take pictures here.

Jones the Grocer 9.30a.m. - 11.00a.m.

The journey continues with Jones the Grocer which is located at the Dempsey Hill. Jones the Grocer originates from Australia and carries a large range of house-branded products as well as other imported gourmet products. And this is where I am going to have very my first meal in Singapore.

National Museum 11.30a.m. - 1.00p.m.

Next, I am going to visit the National Museum of Singapore so that I can know more about this little island before I embark on a journey into Singapore. National Museum of Singapore is the oldest museum of Singapore with the youngest and most innovative soul. It is designed to be the people's museum, and it is the custodian of the 11 National Treasures.

Sentosa Island 1.30p.m. - 3.30p.m.

After visiting the National Museum, I am going to continue my tour with one of the main attractions of Singapore, which is the Sentosa Island. Famous attractions seen at Sentosa Island include the Animal Show, Artists Village, Bird Show, Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom, Carlsberg Sky Tower and last but not least, the Underwater World.

Underwater World is a unique and well-known oceanarium showcasing some 2500 marine life from 250 species from around the regions and is extremely popular with all the visitors for providing fun, leisure and educational experiences.

Orchard Road 4.00p.m. - 5.30p.m.

My next destination after Sentosa Island will be the Orchard Road. It is the main shopping street of Singapore and it will be the paradise for shopaholics!I just can't wait to shop there :D

Chinatown 5.30p.m. - 6.30p.m.

Then, I will have my dinner at Chinatown for some chinese cuisines. Hainanese chicken rice, dim sum, pudding, egg tarts ... Here I come! :P

Night Safari 7.00p.m. - 9.00p.m.

After dinner, I am heading to Night Safari of Singapore to discover the beautiful and unusual wildlife of Singapore in the world's first Night Safari, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle. A tram ride through this rich tropical jungle will follow a dramatically-changing terrain and showcase over 1200 animals of more than 110 exotic species.

Singapore Flyer 9.30p.m. - 10.30p.m.

Next, I am going to visit the Singapore Flyer, which is the most iconic architectural and engineering marvels in Asia. Towering 165 metres above Singapore, the Singapore Flyer is the world's largest observation wheel at 30 metres higher than the famed London Eye.

Clarke Quay 11.00p.m. - 11.59p.m.

To end my 1-day tour, I will chill and get some drinks at Clarke Quay. I believe that the scenery there will definitely melt my heart and it will surely be a memorable experience for me as I have never had any drinks on a boat like that before. This is how my dream 1-day itinerary tour in Singapore will be and I really hope that I will be given a chance to indulge in the Uniquely Singapore experience.

One day, there were these two "picky" customers at the mamak stall where I work at.

I was having Krrunch eating Pringles Potato Chips and they distracted me as they wanted to order some food.

They asked me to introduce all the nice food here and ended up ordering 1 Nasi Lemak and 1 Burger Ayam.

After the food was served, they complained about the food and asked me to bring them something special.

Scratching my head, wondering what should I bring to them.

Something special?Something Krrunch?

And suddenly I came out with an idea!

I decided to serve them with the Pringles Potato Chips which I am addicted to.

Surprisingly, the customers seemed to be very satisfied with it and asked me to pack 1 for them!

Murderer Premiere Screening

Woohoo!Got to watch the premiere screening of Murderer at cineleisure @ the Curve 2 days before it's officially on screen..Thanks to Adele for the ticket :D Let me give a short synopsis of the movie..Ling Kwong (Aaron Kwok) is a Chief Inspector of Police who's very skillful in solving murder cases and he's soon to be promoted..His life takes an U-turn when he wakes up after fainting in a bulding as he suffers short term memory damaged and is more shocked to find his colleague killed in the same building with an electric hand drill..He then discovers his colleague is killed by a serial killer and decides to avenge his death..But as Ling sift through the clues of the serial murders, he finds that all the evidences are pointing toward him as the murderer..At this time, Ling's short term memory continues to desert him..The main question now is...Is Ling Kwong himself the murderer?Well..A lot of people have been saying that this movie is like the chinese version of Orphan but I couldn't agree on that as I have not watched Orphan yet and I am desperately looking forward to watching it..Anyone? :P

Ok..First and foremost, thanks to Zues for offering me the pass to the 3D Preview of Avatar..For the first time we had our outing in the morning and departed from Cyberjaya to GSC of Midvalley around 10.30am..Usually we are just about to sleep at that time..lol :D The preview started at 11.30am and we just reached there on time..Somehow we went in late to the cinema and we didn't know that the preview was just 20 minutes long..The feeling was like "LOL" after the preview ended as we didn't expect it to end so soon..hahhaha!Ok about the movie, it's quite interesting and it will be on screen on 18th of December 2009!FYI,it's actually directed by the director of Titanic, James Cameron..Sounds cool huh?Let us just wait for the day to come shall we? ;D

Okay Part 2 finally..
My final exam is just 2 days apart and I still have the mood to blog now..
Hmm..Perhaps blogging is one of the ways to give you motivations to study?
Because I can only concentrate on my studies every time after I have posted something new in my blog..
Weird huh?=_="

Well..
This Part 2 is mainly about the visit from our Melaka friends who came all the way down to Cyberjaya for the new year celebration and countdown..
I can still remember that they came down to Cyberjaya that day early in the morning around 3am and reached here around 4.30am..
Then we gathered at Simon's place and chit chat while Zues was sleeping so tightly that he didn't answer our call when we called him..
After that, we went to SK mamak for breakfast around 7.30am and YEAHH, Zues was still in bed and didn't follow us..
After breakfast we went back to the same place and started planning for the new year countdown..Finally we made up our mind to go to Sunway Lagoon as some of us have not gone there before..

They make me feel that blogging is so much fun and there are so many events for bloggers as I have attended a few events by Nuffnang and everytime I just go there as a guest.

And the reason I name my address as obcnotocbc.blogspot.com is because I am better known as "ocbc" rather than "obc" everytime when I go to the bloggers' event and I hope that by doing so all of them will always bear in mind that I am obc but not ocbc.. xD What a way to emphasize that who I actually am right? Actually today is a very memorable day for me..
Why I would say like that?
Errheemmm..
This is because something very serious happened one year ago exactly on this date, 12/5/08 and it was undeniably one of the most miserable moments I have ever had in my life..
Those who are close to me they will definitely know what had actually happened..
Even until now I am still haunted by the incident and that was really an unforgettable day to me..

Somehow, there were a lot of sweet moments too back then and yeahh today reminds me of everything that had happened and I would like to take this chance to say "SORRY" to you again as I feel really bad when I think of the incident. I feel like I was the one who caused you all the troubles.. SORRY SORRY and SORRY..

I know if you are reading this blog, you will know that the one I meant is you.. Right? =)
Okay, cut the crap.. I just hope that you manage to live happily with your new life and whatever had passed is past..

OMG..!!
Just realised that it's already 8.45pm and it's time for me to go to the library..
I got finals next week and it's time for me to STRIVE for my FUTURE!!
